I can transcribe old, hard to read documents such as Wills, Inventories or family letters.
Prices depend upon the length and difficulty of the document and are agreed with you in advance after sight of the document and an initial consultation.
The result will be a typed report with notes on the text and script. The transcription will follow what is known as the semi-diplomatic convention which means that I will keep to old spelling exactly as in the document, but any abbreviations will be provided in full.
